As promised, here are some pictures of Avery trying Sweet Potatoes for the first time, as well as carrots and peas!
It came out a little blurry, but still funny! She eventually warmed up to them :o)
They weren't so bad after all...
Hotel Life.....
Here's a little preview of what Avery and I do to pass the time when we are stuck at the hotel, becuase jeremy has the car...
And because she is officially on pack n play strike...
She is sleeping in our bed (blocked in with pillows so she can't roll too far). Which who can blame her, I wouldn't want to sleep on a hard board either! (For those of you who aren't familiar with pack n plays, they have like MDF or plywood in the bottom and are not comfortable, at all!)
Milestones and Important Announcements:
Avery can say "Da Da" now!!!! She was playing with her toys and just talking to herself on Wednesday, July 23rd when all of a sudden in the middle of her babbles I heard "da da"! She says it every day now, although she has no idea what it means! lol
Avery is famous!!! Check out Jason Angelini's blog in our favorite links section. Jason and his wonderful wife Lucia picked a couple of Avery's pictures to showcase in his online gallery! Go to the people portion of the website and check out the baby section to see some of Avery's pictures from her 1 month and 3 month sessions!! :o)
We are fially closing on our first house, this Friday, 8-8-08 so hopefully our next update will be from our new home!!!! Avery has to spend her 1/2 birthday in a hotel, but she is getting the best present ever the very next day when we get to move into our house!!!
And finally, we want to welcome the newest member to our extended family. Braden Gerard McAuley was born last night a little early at 35 weeks, weighing in at 5lbs 1 ounce! He is a little peanut!!! And Avery can't wait to meet her new cousin next week when we are back in FL one last time. :o) Congrats Tiffany and Tom, we are soooooo happy for you all! Parenthood is Awesome and you are in for an AMAZING journey!!!
