Last week we went to Topsail Isand, NC to visit Avery's great grandma. Cari drove up from Tampa and joined us for the road trip.
Avery hadn't been to the beach since she was 6 weeks old, so it was a brand new experience for her. She was a little unsure of everything at first, but soon learned to love the water and sand!
Avery made a new friend while we were there, my grandmother's dog Harley. He had never been around children before, let alone someone so close to his own size. He often mistook Avery for another dog and kept trying to "play" with her.
Before we left we tried to get a picture of Avery and her great grandma, but she just wasn't having it.

Avery loved the furniture, it was just low enough that she could climb into it and play.
